Compact, Turn-Key Fuel Cell Test Stand

Scribner Associates Inc.’s new Model 850C compact fuel cell test station is a cost-effective, fully-integrated, turn-key test station suitable for single cell and small stack testing of PEMFC, DMFC and SOFCs.

The unit includes components usually found in larger-footprint and more costly fuel cell test equipment, including dual humidifiers and mass flow controllers, three temperature controllers, integrated electronics with built-in current interrupt and optional impedance analyzer for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The Model 850C also incorporates built-in alarms and comes with powerful FuelCell® software for safe, user-friendly operation.

To augment the 850C, Scribner Associates, in collaboration with leading fuel cell researchers and educators, also provides the Experimental Methods and Data Analyses for Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells laboratory manual to facilitate hands-on experience in fuel cell fundamentals such as electrochemistry, thermodynamics, kinetics, efficiencies, performance evaluation and electrode properties. Safety procedures and precautions for fuel cell systems and instrumentation are also covered in detail.
