RTP Opens New Facility

RTP Company of Winona, Minnesota, has opened its first manufacturing plant in China. Located in the Suzhou Industrial Park near Shanghai, RTP Company Ltd. has state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities and offers a full complement of customer support, product development and technical service.

The new 16,000 square meter facility will serve as RTP’s base in China and represents its second manufacturing plant in Asia. The first Asian facility opened in Singapore in 2002. The company now has seven manufacturing plants plus sales representatives throughout North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific.

RTP Company is a global leader in specialty compounding. Its engineers develop customized thermoplastic compounds in over 60 different engineering resin systems for applications requiring color, conductivity, flame retardancy, high temperature, shielding, structural and wear-resistant properties.
