TUV Rheinland Acquires New Testing Facility
TUV Rheinland of North America has acquired a new state-of-the-art
10 meter fully anechoic chamber in Santa Clara, California.
The new chamber, in the heart of Silicon Valley, adds to TUV
Rheinlands already strong suite of EMC testing facilities
in the United States.
The chamber will allow the company to perform tests on large
equipment weighing up to 8,800 pounds on its four- meter turntable.
Almost any configuration of power can be supplied for the
test, including three-phase AC power up to 100A and 48VDC
up to 150A for worldwide EMC requirements such as the FCC,
VCCI, BSMI, CE Mark and CISPR 11.
