EPRI Completes Merger
Three formerly separate companies EPRIsolutions, Inc.,
EPRI PEAC Corp., and Primen, Inc. have merged to form
a new company now called EPRI Solutions, Inc.
Michael Howard, Ph.D., previously president and CEO of EPRI
PEAC, has been named president and CEO of the new entity.
Steve Specker, president and CEO of the Electric Power Research
Institute (EPRI), said, This organizational change strengthens
our ability to deliver exceptional value to our clients, and
allows the new EPRI Solutions to better leverage EPRI technology
and industry best practices to address the unique operational,
financial, and organizational challenges faced by our mutual
customers.
EPRI Solutions also named four vice presidents to lead its
business units. Walter Bak, previously vice president, operations,
for EPRI Solutions, now heads the generation and environment
business unit. Arshad Mansoor, Ph.D., formerly vice president,
engineering, for EPRI PEAC, manages the new power delivery
group. Bradley Davids, previously president of Primen, leads
the corporate marketing group and directs its market intelligence
business unit, which will continue to offer its products and
services under the Primen brand. The companys new chief
financial officer and vice president of business operations
is Leon Paul, formerly director of business operations for
EPRI PEAC.
EPRI Solutions new corporate headquarters is in Knoxville,
Tennessee, with additional office locations in Boulder, Colorado;
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Palo Alto, California; and
major test facilities in Haslet, Texas, and Lenox, Massachusetts.
