International Battery, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Symposium

Nearly 3,000 people came to attend workshops, tour the exhibition hall, hear the latest on EVs and drive the 300-plus miles in the Viking Rally from Oslo. Even Crown Prince Haakon drove a fuel cell hydrogen-powered Ford Focus, one of the 30-plus cars in the race, many of which are pictured here.

The bright orange Metro Buddy was officially introduced at EVS-24. Someone said of it, "It’s not a car. It’s a statement!"

Mazda’s RX-8 hydrogen RE fuel cell car was opened for all to see and someone was there to answer questions.
