Electrochem Introduces MR 125 DD Cell

Electrochem has a new battery chemistry optimized for temperatures up to 125°C. In the 75°C to 125°C (167°F to 257°F) range, the new cell, MR 125, provides up to 33% more capacity than traditional lithium cells rated to 150°C. It also demonstrates superior performance under pulse regimes. The MR 125 has excellent retained capacity after prolonged exposure at temperatures up to 125°C. Combined, these features provide customers with more energy and create a significant savings on a cost per watt- hour basis.

The MR 125 is available for sale with a part number of 4433. Contact Electrochem’s product manager, David Sugrue, with questions at (716) 341-2824.
