Enova and Wrightbus to Deliver Hybrid Buses

Enova Systems of Torrance, California, in partnership with the Wright Group, will provide an additional six Wrightbus Electrocity vehicles to London, England, U.K.

Terry Morano, Enova’s director of global sales, saud, “The results of the initial evaluation are proving positive, thus creating further opportunity as shown by the order of these six additional systems.”

The Electrocity incorporates Enova’s 120kW series hybrid drive system which is powered by Enova’s 60kW Genset. Enova’s 120kW system has already been installed in the previous six Electrocity vehicles now in service in London. The initial six single-deck buses operate on London’s 360 route, from the Elephant Castle to the Royal Albert Hall.
