Hybrid Develops System for NASA PT Cruiser

Hybrid Technologies, Inc., emerging leaders in the development and marketing of lithium-powered products worldwide, has completed the development and testing of a highly advanced rapid charger system. The system was developed to satisfy the needs of Hybrid’s federal government clientele such as NASA for rocket and satellite power systems and the US Military.

A battery pack equivalent to 35-40kWh system can be charged within 2.75 to 4 hours from 0% state of charge to 100% state of charge. The fast charger has been designed and fabricated at Hybrid Technologies research center and is flexible to operate under different conditions of constant current and pulse charge.

Hybrid was recently awarded a prestigious contract by the Canadian federal government as part of an advanced vehicle pilot program. The system will insure that other contracts from federal fleets can easily be acquired.
