ABAT's Batteries Successful in Deep-Sea Vessel

Advanced Battery Technologies Inc.’s rechargeable polymer Li-ion (PLI) batteries are being used by the China National Oceanography Institute’s Ocean No.1 vessel to enable deep-sea drilling at 7,500 meters. The batteries were put to the test during a 180-day deep-sea expedition, during which the vessel successfully drilled for samples. Participating oceanographers gave high praise to the grab bucket and drilling sampling machines using ABAT’s 100V and 22Ah, and 300V and 55Ah PLI batteries.
