Electro Energy Awarded Aircraft Battery Contract
The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has awarded Electro Energy Inc. a competitive contract for the manufacture and delivery of batteries for the U.S. Army Kiowa Helicopter.
In addition to securing the new contract, Electro Energy’s manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs has an extensive history of providing battery applications for military aircraft, including the B-1 Bomber, B-2 Stealth Bomber, B-52 Heavy Bomber, Apache Helicopter and the Cobra Attack Helicopter.
