Power Technology in Houston, Texas reports a commercial battery plant has begun manufacturing the company’s valve regulated, absorbed glass matt, maintenance free, lead acid batteries for customer evaluation and testing. Batteries will be delivered to Kung Long Batteries Industrial Co. Ltd., a publicly traded expert manufacturer of lead acid batteries and to Power Battery Co., a privately owned battery manufacturer which has major locations in Patterson, New Jersey; Iberville, Quebec, Canada; and Romsey, England. In addition, batteries will be delivered to other independent manufacturers for evaluation and testing.
