Uniross Acquires Multiplier Industries Corp.

Uniross SA, the European leader in rechargeable batteries and chargers for both consumer and industrial markets, has acquired Multiplier Industries Corp. Uniross now offers the most complete selection of batteries and chargers in the portable energy market. Based in Mt. Kisco, New York, Multiplier employs more than 80 people in its Westchester location and more than 60 representatives throughout the country. It also has its own assembly plant in the U.S. and a sales subsidiary in Manchester, U.K. Much of Multiplier sales in North America are with the major railroads, public safety organizations, transportation companies, defense and services among many others. The company is 9001-2000 ISO certified and has FM approvals for more that 50 batteries.
