Marine/RV Intimidator™ AGM Battery

East Penn Manufacturing has introduced a BCI Group 34 Marine/RV battery to its Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Deka Intimidator™ line. The Marine/RV Deka Intimidator (pictured on page 1) is designed for engine starting and the long deep discharges typical of Marine/RV applications. This completely sealed battery eliminates gas emissions and acid leakage for longer and safer operation, enabling installation next to sensitive electronic equipment.

Designed to resist life-robbing vibration, the Intimidator’s dual-terminals and case/cover configuration provides a secure fit, with less retrofit, to match original equipment marine and RV manufacturers.

The Intimidator’s flat plate design makes full use of the available cube space, which results in more active material and headspace (the space above the cells that retains gasses waiting for recombination). Its complete use of internal cube space ensures a better fit, with less retrofit, while providing maximum power.

The technologically superior AGM design lowers resistance, increases power and eliminates acid spills, leaks, and terminal corrosion by using highly microporous separators to absorb electrolyte. Eliminating the need to add water, the Intimidator’s flat plate design offers increased efficiency for true maintenance-free performance and intimidating power.
