JCI to Get Fiamm's Automotive Battery Business
Johnson Controls Inc. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has reached a preliminary understanding concerning the acquisition of Fiamm's automotive battery business.
The business, to be acquired yet this year, has annual revenues of €190 million and would include Fiamm's battery operations in Avezzano and Veronella, Italy, along with sales and warehouse operations across Eastern and Western Europe. Its Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic, plant is not included in the transaction.
