Habbu Becomes Ener1 CFO

Ener1 Inc.of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, has named Ajit Habbu as its chief financial officer. Habbu previously was senior vice president and CFO of Recall Corp., a global document management business with annual revenue of more than $500 million.

Habbu spent the first 15 years of his career at IBM. A native of India, he holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an M.S. degree in systems and industrial engineering from the University of Iowa, and a MBA in financial and international business from the University of Chicago.
