Defense Contractor Selects Lithium Technology

Lithium Technology Corp.’s German subsidiary GAIA Akkumulatorenwerke GmbH has received a purchase order from a leading robotics company and defense contractor, Robowatch Technologies, worth euro380,000.

LTC will supply 148 batteries for two robot models, which will be delivered by December. Two different capacity batteries are being supplied for these models; both are nominal 24V and have capacities of 27Ah and 60Ah. LTC’s batteries allow the robot eight hours of operation, and are within stringent weight and size constraints.
