AMERACE Microporous Products Hires Brilmyer

AMERACE, Microporous Products L.P of Piney Flats, Tennessee, has hired Dr. George H. Brilmyer as director of research and development. With more than 30 years of battery industry-related experience Brilmyer will significantly enhance the company’s customer-focused product development initiatives. In addition, his previous experience in manufacturing engineering and plant operations will allow him to immediately be an additional resource for technical assistance to the company and its customers in all areas of battery technology.

Brilmyer received a Ph.D. in electrochemistry from the University of Texas. He holds four patents and has been active in many industry conferences publishing and presenting over 30 papers. He recently revised and updated the Battery Council International’s Service Manual’s section on VRLA batteries.
