Electro Energy Subsidiary Gets EPT Order

Electro Energy Inc.’s subsidiary Mobile Energy Products Inc. has received a purchase order from EaglePicher Technologies, the world’s leading supplier of nickel hydrogen cells and batteries that power space satellites.

The order, valued in excess of $410,000, is for nickel sintered plaque, a key component of EPT’s NiH2 batteries. Electro Energy MEP, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been manufacturing nickel sintered plaque for various advanced NiCd and NiH2 applications for many years. Electro Energy expects to ship the current order before the end of 2006.
