Company Receives Order for Mine Lamp PLI Cells

Advanced Battery Technologies Inc. of Harbin, China, has signed a $1.7 million contract to sell 300,000 Polymer Li-ion battery cells for mine lamps to Quanzhou City Hongtian Science & Technology Development Co. Ltd. (QCHSTD), a manufacturer of mining lamps. "Our sole choice for the PLI battery cell packs was Advanced Battery Technologies because it was the only battery that provided us with top quality, a reliable extended energy source and very light weight. But most importantly, ABT's cell packs were the only fire- and explosion-proof batteries," says Junguo Xu, CEO of QCHSTD.
