Nexergy Enters Partnership with A123Systems

Nexergy of Columbus, Ohio, designer, integrator and manufacturer of battery packs and chargers , has a distribution partnership with A123Systems, a developer of lithium-ion batteries. Nexergy will integrate A123Systems’s proprietary technology into custom battery packs for a variety of applications such as medical equipment, safety and security devices, and military and aerospace.

“We will work with A123Systems to identify new applications that will benefit from this technology and to develop battery packs customized for the A123Systems lithium-ion cells,” said Phil Glandon, CEO of Nexergy.

Nexergy provides its customers with safe, reliable battery packs. Its staff has been trained by A123Systems in the features, advantages and benefits of A123Systems’s batteries as well as in proper battery storage, packaging, shipping, pack design and assembly.
