LithChem Receives DOE Phase II SBIR
LithChem International of Folcroft, Pennsylvania,
has been awarded a two-year $750,000 Phase II
SBIR by the DOE to continue work on safer, non-toxic
alternative electrolytes for electrochemical ultra-capacitors.
LithChem’s electrolyte is non-Acetonitrile,
environmentally friendly, and compliant with restrictions
on hazardous substances (RoHS). This new development
will have an immediate impact on HEV, EV, military,
and commercial applications.
