EaglePicher Names Vice Presidents
EaglePicher Technologies LLC has named John Bennett
as vice president and general manager, defense
products, and Ron Nowlin as vice president and
general manager, space, distributed products,
boron and product development. Both have profit
and loss responsibility for their respective businesses,
and report directly to Steve Westfall, president
of EaglePicher in Joplin, Missouri.
Bennett is responsible for defense products in
Joplin and Vancouver, Canada. He joined EaglePicher
in 1984 as a project engineer in the thermal department.
He became thermal quality assurance manager in
1987, thermal production manager in 1991, Rangeline
facility manager in 1997, manager of strategic
programs in 2002, and director of defense programs
in 2003. He holds a B.S. in physics from Central
Missouri State University.
Nowlin joined EaglePicher in 1996 as a contracts
administrator and that same year was named contracts
manager. In 1999, he became battery packaging
manager. Later he was the plant accountant responsible
for accounting and finance for the precision products
department. He became director of commercial products
in 2002, director of specialty materials in 2003,
and director of product development and power
solutions in 2005. Nowlin holds a B.S. from Pittsburg
State University in Kansas and a U.S. patent.
