Kennedy Space Center Displays Lithium Vehicles
Visitors to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center
in Cape Canaveral, Florida, were recently presented
with the latest in lithium vehicles (pictured
on page 1), produced for NASA as part of a Space
Act Agreement. The agreement is to determine the
utility of lithium-powered fleet vehicles produced
by Hybrid Technologies of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Vehicles selected by NASA for use in the KSC fleet
include the hybrid PT Cruiser, lithium Smart Car,
and a high-performance lithium all-terrain vehicle
as part of Hybrid Technologies’ military
line.
