Ryznar Named Vice President at ECD Ovonics

ECD Ovonics has named Paul Ryznar as vice president, manufacturing, reporting to James R. Metzger, executive vice president and chief operating officer. The production technology and machine building division at ECD Ovonics, led by Masat Izu, will report directly to Ryznar. Stanford R. Ovshinsky, president, chief scientist and technologist, will continue to lead the technology aspects of ECD Ovonics’ business.

“My intention,” Ryznar says, “is to build off this foundation through the implementation of new tools, technology, and processes designed specifically to increase both shareholder value and the overall value proposition.”

Ryznar holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering and a MBA, both from the University of Michigan.
