Panasonic to Supply 2006 Dew Action Sports Tour

Panasonic has been named the battery supplier of the 2006 Dew Action Sports Tour, the premier professional action sports tour encompassing skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross that runs through October. As the tour’s exclusive battery supplier, Panasonic will promote its flagship Oxyride Extreme Power battery, designed for digital cameras and portable electronics.

Oxyride batteries will receive tour-wide marketing benefits, including television ads, print and online promotion, as well as on-site presence in the Panasonic Pavilion and through event signage and branding.

“We are proud to expand our multi-year relationship with Panasonic and name them the official battery supplier of the Dew Action Sports Tour,” said Wade Martin, general manager of the Tour.

“Panasonic is excited to be part of the action as the top athletes from around the world return for the second season of Tour,” said Brian Kimberlin, director of Panasonic’s North American battery business unit.
