Zinc Matrix CEO Makes Presentation

Dr. Ross Dueber, president and CEO of advanced silver-zinc battery developer Zinc Matrix Power, Inc., spoke at a recent meeting of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). Dr. Dueber gave a presentation and answered questions on Zinc Matrix Power’s battery technology for portable and stationary energy storage applications.

“Advancements in battery technology are being driven by the increasing demands for greater mobile connectivity and environmentally responsible alternatives,” he said. “Zinc Matrix Power batteries can substantially extend the runtime and range of the devices they power, while using safe, environmentally friendly materials.”

“We are rapidly bringing to market under Dr. Dueber’s leadership the next generation of advanced, rechargeable batteries,” said Arthur N. Budge, Jr., chairman of Zinc Matrix Power. “We believe our battery has the potential to change the game much like lithium-ion did with its introduction in the early 90s.”
