Cobasys to Provide Battery Systems for Saturn
Cobasys will provide its advanced NiMHax®
nickel-metal hydride battery systems for GM’s
2007 Saturn VUE Green Line SUV, available this
summer.
Cobasys’s complete plug-and-play NiMHax 36V
system includes its high power Series 1000 advanced
NiMH battery modules and electronics in a small,
lightweight package designed specifically for
GM’s application. The NiMHax 36V systems
will be built at Cobasys’ manufacturing facility
in Springboro, Ohio.

Cobasys, based in Orion, Michigan, is a joint
venture between Chevron Technology Ventures LLC,
a subsidiary of Chevron Corp., and Energy Conversion
