A preliminary joint marketing venture and principal acquisition of Hybrid Technologies’ lithium vehicles has been approved by Frito Lay. The company will purchase and take delivery of Hybrid’s lithium Mini Cooper and DaimlerChrysler’s Smart Car lithium version at its world headquarters in Plano, Texas. The first vehicles are scheduled for delivery by Q1 2006.

Holly Roseberry, president of Hybrid Technologies, says, “The combination of Frito Lay working with Hybrid on the acquisition of our vehicles and our new partnership with Kokam batteries ensures that the latest and most advanced technology will be used in these vehicles.”
