Bodine Has New Vice President of Manufacturing
Bodine Electric Co., a producer of small motion
control products, reports that Wes Hawkins has
been appointed vice president of manufacturing.
Hawkins was previously employed by Schneider Electric/Square
D, where he was in charge of manufacturing, logistics
and project management. Hawkins holds multiple
engineering degrees and has more than 30 years
of management experience
Bodine also recently appointed two new area sales
managers: Dan Orr and Johnny Persson.
Orr is responsible for sales in Florida, Alabama,
Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. He
has over 20 years experience in motor application
and direct OEM sales. He holds a B.A. degree from
the University of Illinois, and an MBA from LaSalle
University.
Persson is area sales manager for Scandinavia
and the Baltic States. He has 28 years of experience
with Swedish distributor Nodisk Elektra and is
a mechanical engineer with a diploma in marketing
management.
