DataSafe HX Cabinet Optimizes Battery Installation
EnerSys has a new cabinet system for its DataSafe
HX range of valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries.
The DataSafe HX system is ideal for optimizing
installation of uninterruptible power supply (UPS)
systems for applications that include data support
for the financial, telecommunications, pharmaceutical
and insurance industries. The cabinets are UL
1778 listed and approved for Uniform Building
Code seismic zone 4 installations, allowing their
use in the most demanding and critical applications,
in virtually any location.
The space-efficient design of the cabinet system
allows for simplified transport to the installation
site and overall footprint optimization. The cabinets
are factory pre-wired to minimize installation
time. Hinged front doors and removable rear panels
simplify maintenance routines. Several knockout
locations are provided to accommodate specific
site wiring needs. Dual DC rated fuses are standard.
When closed, the cabinet provides a finished look,
with no exposed electrical parts, to complement
computer room electronic equipment.
The flexible DataSafe HX Cabinet System is available
in a wide range of sizes and styles to match the
users needs. A number of customized options
are offered, including circuit breakers and casters.
The cabinets are easily ungradable to include
battery-monitoring systems and can be configured
to support all UPS manufacturers equipment
and voltage levels.
Pricing starts at $4,137 for 120V (12.24 kWB).
Delivery is two weeks ARO.
