ABSL Names Cade President of the Americas

David J. Cade has joined U.K.-based ABSL Power Solutions Ltd., formerly Battery Technology Systems Ltd., as president of the Americas. He will head up ABSL’s initiatives in the western hemisphere, including sales, marketing and business development as well as joint technology development programs and manufacturing/production activities with selected partners. ABSL was acquired last October by Coller Capital Ltd. of Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining ABSL, Cade spent ten years with Lithium Technology Corp., where he was president & COO for three years then chairman and CEO for five years. A former U.S. Air Force officer, he holds an MBA from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. He is also a graduate of Columbia University’s Senior Executive Program and the National War College, Washington, D.C.
