Amara Raja Batteries Expanding
Amara Raja Batteries Ltd, an industrial and automotive
battery manufacturer in India, will further expand
its capacity from 2.4m units per annum to 3m units
per annum at an estimated cost of Rs118 million.
The expansion will be completed by September 2006.
The company’s current expansion from 1.5m
units to 2.4m units is on track.
