Roller New Saft Director of DoD Sales

Saft Batteries, a leading manufacturer of specialized batteries for industrial and defense applications, recently appointed David Roller as director of defense sales responsible for supporting the sales and business development objectives of the Saft Space and Defense Division. He will focus on lithium-ion cell technology and batteries for specialty defense applications.

Prior to joining Saft, Roller held positions in marketing, business development and program management with Alliant Techsystems. While there, he managed marketing and sales activities for lithium primary and reserve batteries for military and space applications. Recently, he developed large Li-ion cells for underwater vehicle applications.

Roller earned both a B.S. in electrical engineering and a M.S. in mechanical engineering at Drexel University.
