Pacific Controls Systems Breaks Ground

Dubai Techno Park hosted the groundbreaking ceremony of Pacific Controls Systems, the global engineering services provider. The new facility will spread over 200,000 square feet of the Park, with a total investment of AED 50 million over the next three years. This will also serve as the new regional headquarters of the company. The half-moon shaped building will be covered in solar panels wired to a battery stack and will use solar energy for 80% of its energy needs

Pacific Controls Systems group has had a regional presence in the Middle East in Kuwait since 1992 a nd has successfully implemented over 2500 low voltage integration projects in the region. Its new premises at Techno Park will involve the manufacture and development of equipment to ensure a continuous supply of electricity and facilitate large-scale automation.

“Our new facility will be the first green building in Dubai, with solar air conditioning and solar lighting. A global leader in automation technology, we will be using a systems engineering approach to produce a scale that uses 40% less energy,” said Dilip Rahulan, chairman and CEO.
