Unitek Miyachi Changes Name

Unitek Miyachi Corp. of Monrovia, California, has changed its name to Miyachi Unitek. Products built by the company, including resistance welding and reflow soldering power supplies, will bear the new name.

The change, effective April 1, will take place over three months as part of a worldwide branding strategy initiated by parent company, Miyachi Corp.of Tokyo, Japan, and includes other subsidiaries in Europe, China, and Korea

“Miyachi’s goal is to unify the company’s many brands and conduct business with a common identity and mission on a global basis,” says Jack Lantz, president of Miyachi Unitek Corp. in California and board member of Miyachi Corp. “We will have no changes in service and support to our customers and partners.”
