Canadians Increase Battery Recycling
Last year Canadian recycling of rechargeable
batteries increased by nearly a third, reports
The Gazette of Montreal. The Recharageble
Battery Recycling Corp., a non-profit organization,
reported that 150,269 kilograms of rechargeable
batteries were collected in 2004, an increase
of 31% from the previous year.
