VRLA Batteries

Powerson Power Supply Co. Ltd. of Shanghai, China, has released its GMF2-200S valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries, which offer a nominal capacity of 200Ah (10 hours) and have a rated voltage of 1.8V. Featuring low self-discharge, the devices require no electrolyte maintenance and have a loss of only 3% per month (when stored). Operating within the -20°C to +45°C temperature range, the batteries require a charging voltage of 2.23V to 2.27V (float) or 2.35V to 2.4V (cycle).
