Newer Technology Inc. and Other World Computing have a high-capacity 1,800mAh Apple iPod replacement lithium-polymer (Li-P) NuPower battery for all first-generation and second-generation iPod models. It offers 46% more capacity for the same price ($29.95) as the original 1,600mAh battery. The ultra-high capacity 2,100 mAh NuPower offers 70% more capacity for$39.95.

“The demand for our high-capacity iPod battery line has been quite intense since its introduction a few months ago,” said OWC President Larry O’Connor. “We’ve had no problem ramping up to supply the ever-increasing demand, and we have further improved our product line with this new 1,800mAh model.”
