PowerGenix Appoints Squiller as CEO

PowerGenix Corp. of San Diego, California, a developer of rechargeable nickel-zinc batteries, appointed Dan Squiller as chief executive officer. Squiller has more than a decade in the power business with key experience in operations, strategy and marketing.

Prior to joining PowerGenix, Squiller was the president of Invensys Power Components, a global manufacturer of Powerware uninterruptible power supplies, Teccor power semiconductors and Lambda power supplies.

“With an excellent background in power technology, along with an extensive range of experience running start-ups and major enterprises, Dan has clearly demonstrated the right skills to lead PowerGenix,” said Ira Ehrenpreis, a PowerGenix board member and general partner of Technology Partners.
