Saft to Supply Ni-Cad for Train Sets
According to the Railway Gazette, Saft
is supplying Matrics MRX 130 batteries for the
20 six-car metropolis train sets being built in
France and China by Alstom and Nanjing Puzhen
Rolling Stock Works for the 16.8km Nanjing Metro
Line, due to open in 2006. The contract is for
€160 million.
