Wilson Greatbatch COO Resigns
Jose E. Almeida has resigned his position as executive vice president and chief
operating officer at Wilson Greatbatch Technologies,
Inc., to accept an executive position with his
previous employer, Tyco Healthcare.
Edward F. Voboril, WGT’s chairman, president,
and chief executive officer, said, “While
I am sorry to see Joe leave, I am grateful to
him for his many significant contributions and
I wish him success in his future endeavors.”
On an interim basis, the operational leadership
team that reported to Mr. Almeida will report
directly to Mr. Voboril. WGT, a leader in implantable
medical devices, is exploring organizational alternatives.
