Beyonics Receives Contract
Beyonics Technology Ltd. of Singapore may receive 5% of its sales this fiscal
year from a contract to make batteries for Matsushita
Electric Industrial Co. According to CEO Goh Chan
Peng, the batteries will account for $50 million
in sales.
The company already makes Panasonic cordless phones
for Matsushita and earlier this year started producing
batteries for notebook computers for companies
such as Dell Inc. and video cameras from Victor
Co. of Japan, maker of JVC products.
